The dishes made by Tuca are the main aggregating factor between the characters. This love for cooking is represented in its maximum form by Vó Maga, a retired cook who travels the world and shows, in the letters she sends to her grandchildren, that this world is huge.
The family home is the main location, where Father, Mother, Pri, Tuca and Caju (the dog) live. Tuca in particular lives in the kitchen, the most welcoming place of all.
