Line Producer

Full Time CLT Contract | In-Person

Description:

The line producer’s primary responsibility is to establish and manage the production budget and schedule, and to bring people together to prevent problems, solve them when they are unavoidable, and enable innovation. Their duties include forward planning, cost and performance reporting, managing external suppliers, scheduling and deploying resources, and balancing financial resources with creative demands to achieve the best possible result.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with studio management and/or clients to build production plans that are realistic within available resources;

  • Manage the execution of planning, meeting daily with production teams; - Facilitate the interface between customers and production personnel;

  • Balance the expectations of internal and external players regarding the creative results of the project within the available resources;

  • Develop production methodologies and monitor their performance and refinement to ensure deliveries on schedule and within budget;

  • Collaborate with hiring teams to select talent based on studio needs;

  • Provide regular reports on project costs and status. Identify potential risks and develop solutions;

  • Take on the negotiation and management of contracts with artists and other external suppliers;

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English;

  • Skills in developing and maintaining budgets and schedules;

  • Ability to predict and solve problems to avoid bottlenecks that will impact production;

  • Strong leadership skills;

  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with colleagues to solve problems;

  • Ability to identify and organize people so that they can be helped to achieve goals;

  • Promote and apply best practices regarding team leadership, project development, production planning, reporting, risk management and resource allocation;

  • Passion for animation :)

Other information:

Previous experience in this role within the animation market will be considered a plus.
