The Blue Sea Squad is back at the Grande Otelo Awards! 🐋

It is with immense pride and joy that we share another very special achievement: the 2nd season of "The Blue Sea Squad" (Esquadrão do Mar Azul) is officially a finalist for the 25th edition of the Grande Otelo Awards 2026!

Competing in the Best Brazilian Animation Series (for Free TV, Pay TV, or Streaming) category, our production is once again among the top names in national audiovisual, in a highly prestigious award held by the Brazilian Academy of Cinema.

For us, this nomination holds an even greater meaning. After having the honor of winning this same category in 2024, seeing the second season recognized by the Academy validates that the care, technical rigor, and socio-environmental purpose we put into every single frame continue to resonate.

This recognition wouldn't be possible without the extraordinary dedication and talent of our entire technical crew, creatives, animators, voice actors, partners, and Marcela Catunda, the creator of the series. Congratulations to everyone who brought this beautiful and cute underwater universe to life and kept it going!
